Labels
SIOSE polygons are associated with one or more combined roofs or uses, with their occupancy percentage and a series of attributes depending on their type.
This information on the roofs, uses, percentages, and attributes present in the polygons is collected in an orderly manner in alphanumeric tables, but it also appears through a descriptive code called the SIOSE label, in the geometry tables within the SIOSE_CODE field.
The cover label for each geometry is defined within the LABEL field in the T_POLIGONOS table. They are represented by a label composed of three capital letters that refer to their name, as indicated in the document's cover tables: " SIOSE AR Coverage, Uses, and Attributes Tables" in the "LABEL" field.
Each label is accompanied by a value between 1 and 100, indicating the percentage of coverage in the polygon. It's important to note the following:
- In the case of a single cover per polygon, the label does not include a percentage value, as it is assumed to occupy 100%.
- In the case of more than one cover, each label is preceded by its percentage occupancy in the polygon.
- Additionally, if there is more than one cover, they are written in order from highest to lowest percentage value and are separated by underscores ("_").
EXAMPLE 1
Single cover: Grassland Scrubland
SIOSE LABEL= PMT
EXAMPLE 2
Several roofs in the same polygon: 76% Paved or Sealed Areas and 24% Building.
SIOSE LABEL= 76PAV_24EDF

When the covers have attributes, these are represented by a label composed of two lowercase letters following the cover to which it is assigned, as indicated in the document attribute tables: "Tables of Coverages, Uses and Attributes of the SIOSE AR"in the "LABEL" field.
Only affirmative or certain attributes for which information is available for each coverage geometry are indicated. If a coverage has more than one attribute, they will appear one after the other:
EXAMPLE 1
A single coverage and attribute: dryland vineyard
SIOSE LABEL= LVIsc
EXAMPLE 2
Various covers with different attributes: 87% Irrigated vineyard, 13% Dryland vineyard
SIOSE LABEL= 87LVIrr_13LVIsc
EXAMPLE 3
More than one attribute per cover: 100% "riverbank formation" and "in plantation" trees
SIOSE LABEL= ARBfrpl

The use label for each plot is defined in the LABEL field in the T_USOS table. These uses are represented by a label composed of five capital letters that refer to their name, as indicated in the USOS tables of the document: "Tables of Coverage, Uses and Attributes of the SIOSE AR" in the "LABEL" field.
- These labels are preceded by the value of their occupancy percentage in the polygon. The percentage can have 3 digits.
- The combination of several uses can add up to more than 100%. This is because, especially in urban environments, the occupancy percentage of each use is determined by the built-up area according to the Cadastre, which is not limited to the horizontal area of the plots. For example, a 3-story building may have a built-up area up to 3 times larger than its plot.
- In addition, if there is more than one use, they are written in order from highest to lowest percentage value and are separated by underscores ("_").
EXAMPLE 1
Single Use: 100% Commercial Agricultural Production
SIOSE LABEL= PAGRI
EXAMPLE 2
Various uses in the same geometry: 45% Sports, 45% Park and 10% Restaurant
SIOSE LABEL= 45TDEPO_45TPARQ_10TREST
